Martin breaks down his original tracks, “High Voltage” and “Amped Up,” teaching you the fundamentals of rock guitar through the songs themselves. You’ll master open and power chords, explore riffs and chord arpeggiation, and develop lead guitar techniques like string bending and palm muting. You’ll also learn how to approach new rock tracks with greater ease and add two complete songs to your repertoire. To be successful in this course, you should have basic guitar skills, including tuning your guitar, reading tablature, counting rhythms, and strumming basic open chords such as E minor and G major. You’ll need an electric guitar, an amp, and your preferred guitar accessories.
