Become proficient at the core processes that keep global supply chains running—demand forecasting, inventory control, order management, and production planning. This course teaches you how to anticipate customer needs, balance inventory levels, and ensure smooth operations across every stage of the supply chain. You'll explore key forecasting techniques, inventory models, order fulfillment workflows, and planning tools to drive efficiency and reduce risks. By integrating forecasting with procurement and risk management strategies, you’ll gain the ability to make proactive, data-informed decisions that enhance supply chain performance. By the end of this course, you will be able to: - Apply demand forecasting methods to production and procurement planning - Use inventory management models and techniques, including safety stock calculations - Manage the full order cycle from order receipt to invoicing - Execute production planning with tools like S&OP, MPS, and MRP - Assess and mitigate inventory-related risks in uncertain environments
