Learners will identify electrical requirements, construct accurate lighting layouts, calculate categorized loads, and compute total power demand for a complete office environment using AutoCAD and structured load-sheet methods. This course provides a practical, project-based pathway to mastering electrical power demand calculation. Starting with architectural interpretation and lighting layout design, learners build a strong foundation in understanding how electrical points are placed and how these decisions influence downstream load analysis. The course then guides learners through socket load entry, special-purpose equipment planning, and multi-stage load sheet creation, culminating in a full kVA demand estimation for a commercial office space. By completing this course, learners will gain actionable skills used daily by electrical designers, MEP engineers, and AutoCAD technicians. They will be able to confidently design lighting layouts, analyze equipment loads, and determine incoming electrical supply requirements for real-world projects.
