C# is one of the most widely used programming languages for building reliable, maintainable, and scalable applications. This course helps you build a strong foundation in C# by combining core programming concepts with practical, hands-on development. Throughout this course, you will write and run C# programs, work with variables, data types, operators, decisions, loops, methods, classes, collections, LINQ, modern C# features, file handling, asynchronous programming, testing, and version control. Each concept is reinforced through guided demonstrations that you can follow, pause, replicate, and practise at your own pace. You will also build an Expense Tracker console application, using it to understand how individual C# concepts come together in a complete and structured program. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to: - Write C# programs using variables, data types, operators, user input, decisions, loops, and pattern matching. - Create reusable and maintainable code using methods, debugging techniques, classes, encapsulation, inheritance, and interfaces. - Store, filter, group, and summarize application data using lists, dictionaries, lambda expressions, and LINQ. - Apply modern C# features including records, nullable reference types, exception handling, File I/O, and async and await. - Write unit tests using xUnit and manage source code using Git and GitHub. - Combine the concepts covered throughout the course to build a complete console-based Expense Tracker application. This course is designed for aspiring developers, students, career changers, and beginners who want to build a strong foundation in C# programming before moving into more advanced application development. No prior programming experience is required. Basic familiarity with computers, files, and command-line tools may be helpful, but all required setup and development steps are demonstrated throughout the course. Build the programming skills needed to write clean C# code, solve practical problems, and confidently progress towards advanced C# and .NET development.
