Курс от Johns Hopkins UniversityThis course introduces students to community engagement as a catalyst for improving health outcomes and advancing health equity, centered around the eight "Guiding Principles of Community-Engaged Research" developed by Melody S. Goodman, PhD, and colleagues. By the end of this course, learners will be able to define community-engaged research, sustainability, and capacity-building; describe the meaning and types of community; explain each of the guiding principles with emphasis on community perspectives, input from partners and trust-building; identify benefits of community-engaged research; and apply relationship-centered, collaborative practices that build on community strengths, support equitable partnerships, and involve all partners in dissemination. This course features an interactive learning experience with insights from leading experts in community-engaged research. Please note that this course does not issue certificates.
