Build the skills needed to design, integrate, and operate resilient modern web systems in this hands-on course on Resilient Systems and Third-Party Integrations. You will learn how to implement real-time features using WebSockets and Server-Sent Events, process asynchronous events with distributed messaging systems, debug issues across distributed applications, and analyze logs and monitoring data to resolve complex, environment-specific failures. You will also develop automated integration tests, implement webhook-based integrations, and integrate third-party generative AI APIs to add intelligent capabilities to web applications. This course brings together expertise from Packt, IBM, UC Davis, and Edureka, offering multiple perspectives on building reliable and scalable systems. You will progress from foundational communication and messaging concepts to observability, continuous integration reliability, and advanced third-party integrations. With a strong emphasis on practical workflows and real-world scenarios, the curriculum balances conceptual understanding with applied skills. By the end of the course, you will be equipped to confidently build, observe, and extend resilient web applications that interact seamlessly with external services.
