Employee relations is a key part of building a productive, compliant, and people-centered workplace. In this course, you’ll explore how HR professionals create and administer employee policies, communicate company values, support employee engagement, manage performance, and address workplace conflict. You’ll learn about employee handbooks, ethics codes, mission, vision, and values, employee communication, inclusive workplace culture, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, employee engagement surveys, performance appraisal methods, discipline documentation, grievance processes, organizational design, business continuity, and HR record keeping. By the end of this course, you will be able to: ● Create and evaluate employee policies, employee handbooks, ethics codes, and workplace communication practices. ● Support employee engagement by identifying ways to build inclusive company culture and measure employee satisfaction. ● Explain performance management concepts, including performance appraisals, employee feedback, discipline procedures, grievances, and workplace conflict. ● Outline HR’s role in organizational design, strategic planning, business continuity, OSHA-related record keeping, and employee documentation.
