Did you know that energy efficiency improvements could cut global energy demand by nearly 4% by 2030? 1 In an era of rising energy costs and sustainability challenges, mastering energy modeling is essential for professionals who want to optimize energy use and reduce waste.  In this course, you will explore how energy modeling works, apply predictive analytics to forecast energy consumption, and learn how to optimize energy systems through concise, hands-on lab (HOL) exercises—no advanced technical background is required. You’ll use accessible AI tools (like Gemini) and simple data inputs to quickly analyze, predict, and propose energy optimization measures in real-world scenarios.  This course is designed for professionals and learners eager to master energy modeling techniques and apply data-driven methods to optimize energy use. It is particularly valuable for energy engineers, analysts, facility and building managers, and sustainability professionals working to improve energy efficiency and performance in diverse environments. Additionally, utility company analysts, policy advisors, and students in energy studies will benefit from practical insights into forecasting, optimization, and real-time energy management. To get the most from this course, learners should have a basic understanding of energy systems and sustainability concepts, as well as familiarity with Excel or other data analysis tools.
