Experimental Design Considerations in SABV Research

This course addresses genetic research as well as SABV across stages of life. You’ll learn from experts about the following: the translational relationship between bench and bedside, how cellular/molecular studies provide mechanistic understanding for clinical and animal science, when and why sex as a biological variable should be considered in genetics research how sex as a biological variable should be addressed across the lifespan, how to study stress in animal models and translational research, how sex differences influence the brain. This course is the second of three courses in the Specialization: Sex as a Biological Variable in the Conduct of Research.
