О курсе

Incorporating security into all facets of operations requires specific cybersecurity talent and leadership. Security engineers provide the expertise to build trust, reliability, and resilience throughout systems by developing effective security solutions and providing risk-based guidance to meet organizational goals in an evolving landscape where systems are constantly challenged by threats and organizational demands. In this course, you will: - Recognize and explain multidisciplinary systems security engineering principles and concepts. - Identify processes and requirements of the systems security engineering life cycle. - Understand the purpose of a risk management framework and how it integrates with system engineering processes. - Connect foundational security principles to security engineering roles, responsibilities, and processes. - Explain security engineering activities and processes related to system implementation, verification, and validation. - Explain the role of security engineering in ensuring that operations, change management, and disposal approaches maintain security throughout the system life cycle. Who should take this course? IT and security practitioners who need to learn about applying engineering principles and processes to develop secure systems and managing security integration for projects, applications, business processes, and all information systems, including those in or pursuing the following positions: - Senior Systems Engineer - Information Assurance Systems Engineer - Information Assurance Officer - Information Assurance Analyst - Senior Security Analyst
