Gen AI is rapidly changing cybersecurity, for both attackers and defenders. The attack types are not necessarily changing, but they are increasing in sophistication, speed and scale. In this course, you will learn how to tackle generative threats in areas such as hacking/intrusions, fraud, or social engineering. You'll explore how attackers leverage Gen AI for various uses such as deepfakes, creating convincing pretexts or emotionally manipulative messages, using synthetic documents and identities for fraud, and more - as well as the best defenses against these. The course will also cover when to use (and not use) Gen AI, the pros and cons of implementing it into cybersecurity workflows, and management decisions that must be taken, besides the technological ones. What makes this course unique is its unique combination of Gen AI with cybersecurity knowledge. By the end, you will be able to know how to effectively protect against generative threats, and how to use Gen AI, yourself, in cybersecurity workflows.
