Gender-based violence: how to become an active bystander

In this course, you will learn about Gender-Based Violence (GBV): its roots, causes, and manifestations. You will understand that GBV is a global phenomenon that can only be eradicated through collective action. Trigger warning: please be aware that some content of the course (such as Sexual assault, Sexual violence, abuse, LGBTQ+ issues or discrimination) may be distressing or triggering for some individuals. Feel free to step away or skip some of them if needed. Understanding the dimension of the phenomenon of gender based violence 2. Understanding the different forms of gender based violence 3. Understanding the main causes of gender based violence 4. Applying strategies to contrast poor behaviours 5. Learning about new narratives to address GBV 6.
