This Short Course was created to help Computer Systems Engineering and Architecture professionals accomplish production-ready OSB service hardening through virtualization, log-driven diagnostics, and pipeline performance tuning. By completing this course, you'll be able to isolate back-end endpoints behind governed proxy services, trace and resolve live routing failures using Service Bus Console diagnostics, and confidently tune concurrency and retry settings before month-end processing peaks. By the end of this course, you will be able to: - Apply OSB service virtualization and security policies to a proxy service to isolate back-end endpoints and enforce governance controls. - Analyze OSB monitoring data and diagnostic logs to pinpoint the cause of routing failures, schema transformation errors, or endpoint timeouts in production. - Evaluate and tune pipeline stage configurations to improve message throughput and reduce timeout frequency under peak load. This course is unique because it bridges policy governance and performance engineering within a single OSB proxy lifecycle, from locking down CRM endpoints to validating a 40% reduction in timeout incidents. To be successful in this project, you should have a background in Oracle Service Bus fundamentals and middleware integration at a mid-level practitioner standard.
