As Internet of Things (IoT) devices and connected services become increasingly integrated into homes, businesses, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, and critical infrastructure, organizations must address the cybersecurity and privacy risks associated with these connected environments. This on-demand course provides an introduction to ISO/IEC 27400:2022 and the guidance used to enhance the security and privacy of IoT systems, services, and devices. You'll explore IoT concepts, stakeholders, ecosystems, lifecycles, and common sources of security and privacy risk. You'll also examine the security and privacy controls recommended by ISO/IEC 27400, including controls for IoT service developers, service providers, and users. By the end of the course, you'll understand the key concepts, risk sources, and controls associated with ISO/IEC 27400:2022 and how they support the secure and privacy-conscious development, operation, and use of IoT systems and services.
