Learn how to apply Lean manufacturing principles, optimize production systems, and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. This course provides practical knowledge of Lean tools, workflow optimization, waste reduction, and maintenance excellence used in modern manufacturing and operational environments. The course begins with the foundations of Lean thinking and workplace organization, helping learners understand Lean manufacturing principles, implementation frameworks, and workplace efficiency concepts. Learners will explore 5S methodologies and setup reduction techniques using SMED to build a strong foundation in Lean operations. As the course progresses, learners focus on process optimization and flow management using advanced Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Just-In-Time (JIT) systems, Kanban, and pull-based production methods. The course explains how to streamline workflows, improve production flow, and reduce operational lead times effectively. Advanced modules cover Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), equipment reliability, and continuous improvement practices. Learners will understand proactive maintenance strategies, TPM pillars, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) measurement techniques to improve equipment performance, workplace safety, and operational reliability. What makes this course unique is its balanced combination of Lean manufacturing theory and practical application.
