Курс от LecturioThe pelvis forms the bony and muscular foundation for the reproductive, urinary, and digestive organs it contains, and this course works through both the shared structures and the sex-specific anatomy built on top of them. The course opens with the bony pelvis and pelvic floor, comparing male and female pelvic anatomy, then examines the male and female reproductive systems in turn. From there, the course covers the vasculature of the pelvis and the anatomy of the perineum, before turning to the lymphatic drainage and autonomic innervation of the abdominopelvic region, including the sympathetic and parasympathetic contributions. The course closes with reproductive physiology: the hormonal axes that regulate spermatogenesis, the menstrual cycle, and reproductive function more broadly. Throughout, the course builds on the abdominal vascular anatomy and autonomic patterns introduced earlier in this program, extending them into the pelvis. The emphasis remains on mechanism and clinical relevance, not memorization of structure lists in isolation.
