Every project runs on the people connected to it, yet most project managers can describe their deliverables in more detail than the person who could quietly stall them for months. This course gives you a framework for figuring out exactly who your stakeholders are and how much of your attention each one deserves. You'll classify each stakeholder using two measures, power and interest, and place them on a Stakeholder Placement Chart with four quadrants. From there, you'll build a tailored plan for each type: champions and adversaries who hold both power and interest, gatekeepers who can quietly block your progress, vocal supporters and critics without formal authority, and quiet stakeholders who just need a courtesy notice. You'll practice these skills through dialogues and role plays built around stakeholders pulled from everyday project scenarios. By the end of this course, you'll be able to classify any project stakeholder by power and interest, build a plan matched to their quadrant, and adjust your approach to turn critics into supporters and gatekeepers into allies.
